2025年9月期ESI（Essential Science Indicators）高被引論文閾值正式公布，數據覆蓋了從2015年1月1日到2025年6月30日的數據。ESI作爲一種強大的分析工具，致力於識別Web of Science核心合集中最頂尖的研究成果。此次ESI更新涵蓋了全球11,000多種期刊的發表和引用數據，對22個領域的作者、機構、國家和期刊進行了全面的排名。

在此次評選中，香港中文大學（深圳）犇亞國際眼科研究所副所長、香港中文大學（深圳）研究教授及研究員、深圳希華愛康健醫院眼科醫生張敬法教授發表的《Inflammation in diabetic retinopathy: possible roles inpathogenesis and potentialimplications for therapy》與《Subretinal fibrosis secondary to neovascular age-related macular degeneration: mechanisms and potential therapeutic targets》入選ESI高被引論文。
